OBS Team Members Focus on Impact
Lahore- Two trainings have been held on Impact Entrepreneurship and identifying the gaps for creating impact as part of the Optimus Biztech Solutions’ Business Incubation at the Seplaa Hub Incubator.
The trainings were conducted by Dr. Ammara Farooq Malik, one of the pioneers of the impact movement in the region and the first impact lawyer of Pakistan.
The participants of the sessions included Ms. Irfana Yasser, who has a background in creating women empowerment focused documentaries and women centric policy interventions first at the BBC News (later BBC World) and at Optimus Capital in Karachi.
About the session, Ms. Irfana expressed that ‘These sessions delved deep into the realm of impact businesses, providing us with extensive training and insights in this crucial area.’
Another participant, Mr. Jawad Amjad also had a prior experience of working along side impact businesses and women led businesses in the financial sector, making him an active participant in the discussions with several brainstorming ideas floated for the remaining group members in Optimus Biztech Solutions (OBS).
After the executive training sessions on impact, the OBS team was charged towards implementing their newly devised action plans within their impact business and created a robust strategy to implement their ideas.
